My main router (from verizon) and switchesare located in the garage in a server rack, from there I usually run the cables towards inside the house through the attic, Does the HUB has to be inside the house to work properly or can I leave it in the garage?
It might work fine where it is but it’s always best to move it away from any other wireless emitting device (hotspots, routers etc) as they can interfere with each other.
Also the ST Hub often performs better in a central location (from what I’ve found) as you will have potentially less hops to your devices.
