How to setup Alexa to accept OPEN command

Does anyone know how to setup Alexa to accept " Alexa open shades" rather than having to say “Alexa turn on shades”?

I created an Alexa Routine to do that. When I say, “Alexa, open the blinds.” It turns on my blinds. I have a separate routine for “close.”
