Yesterday was the first time I used my chromecast in conjunction with google home… It’s awesome!
A few quick first thoughts.
Streaming plex I can say ok google pause tv, and it pauses, oddly to resume I have had to say unpause tv.
I kind of wish you could set the default service for Each Device. Like for the TV it would be nice if it auto searched Youtube, Instead of Pandora. But on my Google Home I want it to use Pandora, not Youtube.
I stand with many others in that I wish things wouldn’t auto group, and instead I could choose what is grouped together more easily similar to that of the echo. ( I haven’t set it up yet, but I have High Hopes for @MichaelS’s newly released smartapp.
Hands down Google understands what I want Much better than echo… It’s not even close in my home… And I have 3 full echos and 4 Dots =/
