I lost all my motion detector automations. They just wouldnβt reconnect despite scanning. I think Iβll just enroll from the channel so these updates wonβt cause these kind of problems without me knowing in advance. Easier to handle if I know what is happening and when
Edit:
And now that I mentioned motion detectors, @Mariano_Colmenarejo could it be possible yo add tempering option to motion sensor driver? Lidl sensors have tempering feature?
Sorry for the possible issues caused by updating the driver versions yesterday, but this is part of the downsides of the beta stages and being able to fix this in the future.
Always before publishing a new version, I test it on my devices and if it works well I publish it on the shared channel.
If it is an update that implies a possible cache clearing or restart of the hub, due to having new capabilities or profiles, I always make a driver with a different ID, so that it is not updated automatically and is carried out by the user when he wants and does not cause problems without warning.
I do not know the reason why some users have inactive devices and others do not. It has not happened to me in any of the more than 20 that I updated.
Maybe smartthing should be considered, if the update of the drivers and the firmware of the hub have an option of automatic or manual update that is selectable by the user or similar to as seen in this capture for the update of the firmware of a device.
Hi @nayelyz, just wondering if there is any expected date for a firmware update on the Smartthings WiFi Hub to solve the issues with the Edge Drivers? Thanks

I have made a new version for the sonoff contact sensor by changing the default battery report setting from 21600 sec to 3600 sec to see if it stops disconnecting.
If you want to test it, itβs in the channel with name Zigbee Contact Sonoff Test
Only need install driver in your hub and change the driver in device app

I am sorry to report that my Sonoff contact sensor using your βZigbee Contact Sonoff Testβ driver went offline in less that 7 hours after the door was last opened.
A quick opening and closing of the door put it back online.
I just installed the driver. I need to check how long my sensor stays online. I have few Nedis contact sensors, and they keep going on/off several times a day. And always come online when activated.
