CoRE and Piston Rules Engine, first design steps

Thanks for the explanation. Makes perfect sense now: So local store it is.

Well, seconds and ST donā€™t mix well together. You can however try a ā€œSet color to Randomā€, ā€œWait 30sā€, ā€œSet color to Randomā€ā€¦

Ohh I see, brake the minute in to sectionsā€¦
Will do. this sounds like a grate solution!

Thanks Adrian!

Gil.

Can we maybe get only these added piston restrictions
Only Execute during this time
Only Execute On These Days

seems like the only thing missing.

@CrystalStylez They were on the way. Check out v0.0.084

Installed the latest version of CoRE v0.0.083 and getting errors on all of my pistons. I tried searching this thread but it is so long I am lost in finding if this is a known problem.
There appears to be question marks before every condition.

Never seen thatā€¦ V084?

Yes, sorry. 084.
Trying to see if I got something contaminated in my copy

Correction I am on v083

Github or copy&paste?

Copy / Paste. Yes. I think that is what is going on.

Smells like UTF8 gone wrong

Holy moly you just put up 084 just as I caught 083. Let me get v 084 and see if that fixes it.

Ok, time to review. Other than the contact book notifications, what else is missing/not working?

Iā€™m looking to get an average of all my temp measurements and then do something if that average is with in a range. Iā€™ve tried a couple different things with no luck. Can anyone provide some guidance?

Beta, beta, beta! Not for anything but to start new thread

Using multiple devices

save attribute to variable (use Avg)

Tried that?!

As in give up the ALPHA thread?!

Yeah multiple devices and I set-up the following piston but Iā€™m not seeing the global variable.
