I’m using android 16 with SmartThings app 1.8.29.24 and I can see my air conditioners.
I can see them in the devices page, I see if they are on or off, I an turn them on/off but when I enter the details page the loading wheel spins forever without loading any page.
Someone with the same issue?
Delete the app and reinstall it.
Delete the device and add it back again in the app.
Yes. I have same issue. I installed an apk downloaded from the internet. The version from the play store has this bug.
Good to know. I will try to remove and re-pair the air conditioner but I strongly suspect something is broken…
To be honest I always had issue with this app…and why I MUST allow “phone permission” to use it? It’s a remote controller for air conditioner, what the hell I have to allow “phone access”???
How can I remove the device?
From “devices” page I can only “add to favorite”, add to home, edit, disable notification…
No way to delete it from my profile without entering device detail page…but it’s not loading…
So I cannot remove the device…
No one has any suggestion?
I can add that same Android app version is running fine on Xiaomi Redmi 9 Pro, I can enter conditioner details.

That’s what you see from the Favourites icons on the Home tab. If you go to the Devices tab you should see the extra remove option when you hold a device icon. Alternatively go to the three dot menu on the top right of the Devices tab and choose Manage devices.
