Alexa able to do mode changes?

Hi all. Has anyone figured out how to use Alexa to switch location or security modes? For instance, when I crawl into bed at the end of the day I want to be able to say “Alexa, Good Night” and have her switch location mode to Night and security mode to Armed (Stay). Any thoughts or ideas?

There’s a community FAQ on this. Just create an automation that sets the mode and trigger that automation from a simulated switch.

Then you can use Alexa to turn the switch on and that will change the mode.
