2gig wireless doorbell as a scene controller

I was looking for a low cost solution to having something operate like a CA5100 but without the need for wiring. I am trying to add some controllers around the house to operate either as a switch for lights and also potentially as a panic button. I have seen prices range from $24-$40 and it seems like it could be a nice wireless solution. Any thoughts?

I’m really looking hard to find a simple solution for the same thing. The best thing I’ve seen so far is the Iris Smart Button that unfortunately only works with the Lowes/Iris suite.

$20 wireless button that you can place anywhere.
If this would work with SmartThings at this price, I would by at least 5 to place around my house.
