[OBSOLETE] ZWN-SC7 Enerwave 7 Button Scene Controller

Anyone notice that this scene controller is no longer available from online retailers? I don’t really see a replacement device in the same price range. I just want a mains powered, recessed set of buttons that a regular person would be able to operate. There are some much more expensive options, but nothing really close to the enerwave. I don’t care to have direct control of things, just want the button to send a signal to smartthings, which would then do whatever I want it to do based on the button pressed.

This has been discussed. It does look like the device has been discontinued. We can hope that means they’re going to be coming out with a Z wave plus version, but so far no word from the manufacturer.

Meanwhile, The best alternatives appear to be either the Leviton 4 button, which like the SC7 is mains powered, or the remotetec 8 button (24 Control possibilities, as each button has tap, double tap, and held). But the remotetec is battery powered. Both of these are discussed near the end of the remotes and buttons FAQ:

I’d like to know which buttons and remotes are currently supported or might be supported in the future.
