Zooz 4-in-1 Sensor SmartThings (1.7.27-25) app crash

I have a Zooz 4-in-1 Sensor, ever since the new release of the SmartTings android app (1.7.27-25) every time I attempt to access the sensor the app will soft crash and restart. When creating new automations the automations will not fire.

From the online sensor view i can confirm the sensor is working correctly.

Troubleshooting steps:

• I used the Zooz provided device handler, and also attempted to use a generic Z-wave motion device handler. This resulted in the same broken behavior.
• The old app works without issue
• Attempted to reset the sensor and remove it from the hub. This resulted in the same broken behavior.
• Remove the automation and create new ones. Resulted in the same broken behavior.

Any one else seeing this? It’s got to be related to the new app.

hmmm, mine is working fine on iOS. maybe android only problem?

one thing you might try - delete the STSC app and perform a fresh install

Since updating to the latest Android version of Smarthings today (2/18/19), clicking on the sensor to see the current info causes Smartthings to shut down. It still shows all of the settings in the Classic app. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have not made this DTH update and I am not crashing. I am on iOS, same as Jimmy so it does appear to be Android only. As I said, follow the above for a fix.

I use the Monoprice version of the sensor but that shouldn’t make a difference.

I’ve gone ahead and opened a support ticket with ST as well.
