Zigbee Button Up Event

I am attempting to use an Aeotec button in a routine, but it seems like only held, pressed, and double pressed are available even though a lot of other conditions are available to choose from when creating a routine. I would like to have a zigbee switch turn on when the button is held down, but turn off when the button is released. It seems to me as a fairly fundamental thing to be able to do, but so far I have not figured out how. I was hoping that “held up” would fire after a “held down”, but no dice. Can this be done? Is there a “Button Up” event ?

Jose

“Button up” in this context for a Zigbee device is usually referred to as a “release” event. But not all devices send that event information to the hub. I don’t know about this specific one.

@JDRoberts Thanks for your reply. Can you recommend a zigbee device that sends “release” events? I am not particularly loyal to this button…A zwave button can also be OK, I guess…

Surely there has to be one…
