I see that there are both a “Z-Wave Door/Window Sensor” and a “Z-Wave Plus Door/Window Sensor” device handler for contact sensors. All of my ZW Plus contact sensors join with the Z-Wave Door/Window Sensor. Is the “Z-Wave Plus Door/Window Sensor” depreciated or should I switch my ZW Plus contact sensors over to the Plus DTH? I know there are some differences in how Z-Wave Plus handles wakeup and wasn’t sure if these differences are incorporated into the regular DTH. Anyone know the difference between these two DTHs?
They are essentially the same as far as open/close/battery reporting goes. Nothing specific to Plus. The only difference I see is that Plus DTH was written for a device which also reports temperature in addition to the contact sensor state but it doesn’t seem to be used anyways.
