Yale Conexis L1 won’t connect to smartthing v3

Thanks again for the quick response.

I go into the hub and select Z-Wave Utilities
I then select Z-Wave exclusion
It then tells me to follow the manufacturers instructions
For the Yale conexis it says I should press the join button 3 times
It then thinks about it for a while, then I get
“No devices were deleted, try following the manufacturers instructions again, or force delete a device”

The 34=302 error is received when it fails to add either the Yale conexis or the Generic Z-Wave device. The error is the same for both.

“There was an problem connecting to the device. Try again.”

Error code: 34-302

Many thanks
Carl

Hi had same problem after reading through this thread I have succeed :+1:t2:
So as per some of the information this is what iv done 1: lock door lift handle press the small button 3 times makes noise flashes blue
2: SmartThings app I have the newer one. Go to front door if it’s there then delete then it’ll say carnt then forced delete appears press that it will eventual !
3: moved hub as close as I could then add device againe use the pin instead of Qr code it’s the underlined ones on module (in case you are unsure )
Then Alexa (if you have one who doesn’t ) Announces it is found Yale lock you can control
Hope this is helpful & thanks to all on this thread …

I am having the same issue and same error code. This is with both an aeotec recessed door sensor that I have plenty of and the work fine, and a new GE motion sensor. Supposedly a higher level tech support going to call me back. I have a v1 hub and have been using ST for a long time and never had a problem I couldn’t solve. I think this is a bug.
