Winterizing Spruce Sensors

I’m up in the air about whether to bring in my Spruce sensors from the lawn. I’m in the DC area. The Spruce FAQs say that the sensors are fine down to 0 degrees (I’m assuming that’s fahrenheit), and it doesn’t get that cold in my area. It would be a lot easier not to bring them in, remove the batteries, and resync them next Spring, because that process is a total pain. OTOH, the sensors are expensive and I don’t want to have to replace them. Are there any other Spruce users out there in similar climates to mine? What are you going to do with yours?
