Frequently when I open the iOS app all devices say “Downloading…” What’s going on??
They do eventually show current status.

and this seems to have increased recently as well for me.

I have been seeing the same thing. I don’t know the reason.

Ditto regarding the frequency of Downloading showing, it not just an odd device but all.
Trying to recall if there was an app update or hub firmware update around the time it started happening
Easiest fix is to delete and re-install the app.
First thing I tried was deleting the app, it made no difference.
For a couple of devices I reset them and deleted from the hub (resetting hub and reinstalling all devices not an option)
It’s purely an app (and download server) issue. You don’t even need to have a hub to encounter it.
Some people have fixed it by uninstalling the app, restarting the smartphone and then reinstalling the app.
