Which device handler being used?

i have 3 device handlers for 4 devices. how do i know which version is being used by these devices?
for example, is it possible for a door sensor to accidentally use a smart outlet device handler???
when i click on a device to view details, i only see these options:
published
self published
draft

is there a way to be able to see the names and version numbers.

never mind. i think i have to choose the Type first. can always rename the name of device handler to version numbers to keep track too.

That’s one way. Each device handler should also have a fingerprint inside of it that tells the device when pairing to use that handler. Not sure what happens if you have multiple custom handlers with the same fingerprint.
