Where is the source code of the device handler "LAN Bose SoundTouch"

Hi all,

I tried to add the shuffle setting to a device handler for Bose SoundTouch. However, I recognized that all my Bose SoundTouch devices are set to the device handler “LAN Bose SoundTouch” but in the device handler template library I could only find a “Bose SoundTouch”. I switched to that device handler and got some exceptions right away when I turned the SoundTouch device on. I could comment the code that raised the exception and add the shuffle setting and now it works so far. But as there was that code that caused exception I am really not sure if I want to keep this device handler.

So, I was wondering if anybody could point me to the code of the “LAN Bose SoundTouch” device handler.

Thanks

Thanks for that. However, the “Bose SoundTouch” is what I found and saw that it is not the device handler that was set for the device. There is a “LAN Bose SoundTouch”. That was set for the devices.
With the Bose Connect I now at least know why the Bose SoundTouch has the parent calls. But I remember that the Connect app is what was used before there was the real integration of the SoundTouch system into SmartThings.

So, I am still looking for the “LAN Bose SoundTouch” display handler.

Realise that this is an old thread but also interested to try and find this. I’ve replaced the default handler with the one from the GIT hub but it doesn’t seem to work anymore.

I’m trying to solve how to do “zones” with the Bose i.e. join more than one together for sync’d audio. The custom (pre Super Lan Connect) seemed to include the abiltiy to “join everywhere” which would be good enough.
