By now we’ve all heard about the Amazon Dot and Tap but I noticed an unrecognised device in the launch advert:
Does anyone know what that device attached to the wall is? Echo v2?
The form factor looks like an Echobee3 but that’s not a screen I recognize.

It’s ecobee3 for sure. You happened to get that screenclip right as it is changing the temperature.
If you watch the video, just seconds before, you’ll see the normal ecobee3 screen and then it changes to that as the temp is being set.
Here’s a shot taken from a video of the ecobee3 so you can see what I’m talking about.
