Was given a Hub, how do I reset

So I had a neighbor move. He did not want to sell his condo as a “Smart Home”, so he allowed me to come in and strip the things he had out. (He had not done all that much). I got a SmartThings version 2 hub. Going to set it up at my daughter’s house. Any idea what issues I am going to run into as I don’t know what his log in or anything was? Any suggestions? Thanks

Did you get the welcome code that came with the hub?

no, i did not

Call Samsung support and have them reset the hub. Easy thing to do. They will also give you a new Welcome Code.
