Wall light switch : cross operation

Hi,

I would like to use two in-wall Z-wave switches, but for crossed operation.

CURRENT SETUP :

  • Switch A in location A controls light A
  • Switch B in location B controls light B

DESIRED SETUP :

  • Switch A in location A controls light B
  • Switch B in location B controls light A

So basically I’m looking for a z-wave switch with a strict separation between the physical button (that can send a command to another switch but not change the state of the switch itself), and the relay in the switch (that can receive command from other switches and be not affected when the physical button is pressed)

Does that exists ??? Any pointer to a suitable product ?

I am using this (GoControl Z-Wave 3-Way Wall Accessory Switch - WT00Z-1) switch to accomplish something similar to what you want (no local load, toggle remote load). 2WT00Z and 2in-wall micro-controllers/relays should do the job. I am very new to HA so you might want to wait for a second opinion :wink:
