I have two SmartThings systems in different locations. I have 16 Virtual Switches created in VEdge Creator between them. One of the VS controls the exterior lights on my house. There are 7 light bulbs it controls, all of them Wiz. Since the beginning of the year I have been having this issue. I set Warm White (2700k) and 45% brightness. I have always set these in the Wiz app and that’s how the bulb performed. Now they come on at 2200k and 70%. Then I tried setting them in SmartThings, no change. Its been recommended that it might be if circadian rhythm was turned on, it isn’t. I use one other Wiz bulb in my house and it still performs as it always has. The only difference is it’s not in a virtual switch. So, I changed the setup to individual lights in the automation without the VS. Works as intended. It’s easy to say my problem is solved. However, I also depend on Sharptools displayed in wall mounted tablets to verify each location is ‘running’ like I want. Virtual Switches play a big role in this. Any suggestions/recommendations on how to solve this? Thank you in advance.
Which wiz bulb? Some are upgradeable to matter, if so you should be able to pair with SmartThings directly and not need a virtual switch?
I’d consider creating a scene “aka named manual routine”, test that works to your satisfaction and then call it from an automation.
I guess I’ll need the instructions on how to set this new VS up. Thank you!
