I’ve shied away from webcore. I like to keep things simple where possible.
But I guess the time has come…
EDIT: not bad! The install was not difficult once I forked the repository.
The first piston I originally set up as described above. Unreliable.
So I changed it such that it uses negative statements. Not unlocked, not unknown, etc for the lock, and not open for the sensor.
Now it works flawlessly.
NEXT MORNING EDIT; this will really clean up my SmartTiles remote monitor screen. When I’m at work I don’t need to know which window sensor is open, I only need to know in which room a sensor is open. So 12 tiles will reduce down to four.
