is the hub located next to other networking equipment or baby monitors that could be causing interference?
Nope.
(Just some random words so the reply will post.)
try power cycling all your main powered zigbee devices and powering off the hub for 20 minutes.
Was it previously working, or is it a new device?
What does the SmartThings app say when you put a device into pairing mode and attempt to onboard it, error or just nothing found?
If nothings working you could try changing zigbee channel, or possibly WiFi channel
Lots of devices previously working. Now “not connected”.
Nothing found when trying to connect new device.
Did you try changing the zigbee channel,or your WiFi channel? If your router has WiFi channel as auto and it’s hopping it could be on a channel clashing with zigbee.
What are your zigbee and WiFi channels ?

This is a firmware issue, it has been going on since November. It will work for a few weeks and then stop working again. Unplug your hub for 30 minutes and then plug it back in and this will rebuild your Zigbee mesh. You should see your devices come back online. DONT change your Zigbee channel, that is a very bad Idea, unless you want to go around after and remove all of your devices that were offline when you made the channel change and add them back! Im hoping they will eventually fix what they broke in the November firmware update. People with a small number of devices on their hub don’t see this issue. People like me that have over 100 Zigbee devices do.
Surely its too late for that if he says he’s already reset his hub (im guessing that’s a factory reset)?
I think he meant rebooted. @fredfon What did you mean by reset? Factory reset or reboot? How many devices do you have?
Not factory reset.
I have dozens of devices, unplugging and waiting didn’t help
Do you have any more info on this?
Search the forums for Zigbee issues in the last four months, and you will see plenty of posts about this problem. My Station and V3 worked for years with 180 devices without an issue. After the November 2025 firmware update, it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn’t.
All of my Zigbee devices will suddenly drop offline. After I unplug my hubs for 30 minutes and plug them back in, the devices come back online. Some will work and some won’t. When trying to control something, it fails with a message about the network not responding and to try again later.
From reading all the posts, it seems that when they added all the Thread and Matter features, they broke the Zigbee radio. A lot of people don’t see the issues because they don’t have that many devices. It only seems to happen to people who have a large number of devices.
I think the Station and the V3 are under powered for all the Thread stuff they enabled and that why people with a lot of devices see issues with Zigbee!!
