Good day, is anyone here recent used smart things in the caribbean?

If your question is if you can use a US ST system in the Caribbean, the short answer is yes. In fact I use a US system in an ex USSR satellite state as well.

The longer answer is:

  • are you familiar with the radio spectrum in your country, and will you be breaking the law by using a US ST system, and if so, are you willing to run the risk & subsequent consequences if caught doing so?
  • if the electrical voltage is NOT the same, while the ST hub itself is multi-voltage, you will have issues with smart plugs & switches. Plugs can be overcome with local country specific adapters. Switches not so much. Anything battery operated is OK.
