Releated: https://developers.meethue.com/documentation/changes-bridge-discovery?

Since no changes were done on the app side it could be related to changes on the hub side.

I believe my app is requesting information from the bridge and super lan connect gets in the way of the reply which smartthings is refusing is the case. @Guillaume_Lecomte has tried to install all the 3rd party hue apps available the last few days and hasnt got one to work

Which other apps exists?

I could give them a try too.

Just tried them in the order you pasted them and here are the results:

1: warn super_connect_warn parse() received in hue bulb description=index:15, mac:00178875C205, ip:C0A8019D, port:0050, requestId:53a05248-1a29-4a22-8569-3f703ee42df1, headers

2: warn super_connect_warn parse() received in hue bulb description=index:15, mac:00178875C205, ip:C0A8019D, port:0050, requestId:53a05248-1a29-4a22-8569-3f703ee42df1, headers

3: WORKS! (IDE log included) (I am not at home so I cannot push the button hence the app is now just waiting for that)

His base code is alot like the last version of the official Hue (connect) so was expecting it to work.
HBS is running on a very old official code

I will try to re-add it later when I get home to see if it completes.

I have created a support ticket with ST listing all the applications I’ve tried, what the results have been and asked them a couple of questions.

Will keep you posted on any response.

they will just say contact the developers

Maybe so - but 3 out of 4 applications failing with the same error is wierd.

Those two are very old though based on older code than hbs. I’m home from work now so will give my spare hue bridge a go if I can find it

mine still works

This is wierd indeed. Must be some a broken cog in my environment then? :thinking:

Hue Advanced worked here. It found both the hub and bulbs and connected successfully.

which hue advanced worked for you?

@tmleafs exams are done. I may be willing to pick some code apart with ya once i have a day or so to recuperate (still have to work lol). whats the current status?

Edit… well somethings changed. Hue Advanced connect works nice

@Mooseknuckle - guess you found it. :slight_smile:

Installed it yesterday and it connects and functions flawlessly in my environment.

@tmleafs I will update you when I hear back from support.
