I moved to a new house and am migrating my zwave and ZigBee devices. In the process I created a new location and tried to move the hub to the new location. There is no error in the app but the hub remains in the old location. Tried the same with the CLI and it returns success but the hub remains in the old location. How can I move the hub without doing a reset?
in the app, did you set your geolocation to the new address?
either by tapping the 3 dots on the dashboard and selecting Location settings and tapping on the second field for the address or in the upper left of the dashboard and selecting Manage Locations
Why create a new Location? Just update the geolocation of your existing Location.
I had devices at both properties, that were not attached to the hub. I still have the other property and thought to update the location while I incrementally moved each device.
It’s still a bug since the api returns success and the action fails. I may have to try this workaround to swap the locations.
