I’m using a Smarthings door/window sensor to monitor the temp in my freezer. While this is an “off label” use of the device it actually works pretty well. I’ve set up an automation to be notified if the temp is at or above 10 deg.
But I’m also getting repeated notifications (every 15 min or so) that “(device name) is too cold, reporting a temperature of -2.5 degrees”. I do not have this set up as a notification. While this is logical for the device as it is intended to be used, it’s not what I want.
Obviously I don’t want to turn off notifications. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.
