How do I get rid of this??

If you tap on the 3 dots in the upper right of the screen, select Home insight settings and disable Insight messages. It is suppose to disable them but some still pop up from time to time. Or at least, I think that is the right way to get rid of those.

Or under Menu > Settings .., disable special suggestions

Ya, thats off and has been off. But I still get these banners.

If I turn on ā€œInsight messagesā€ I get a different banner, all text ā€œSuggestionsā€

If I turn off the insight settingsā€¦. it removes all the status, but still leaves that banner.

Have you ever run through the ā€˜Home lifeā€™ thing on the Menu page? I havenā€™t and Iā€™ve never seen that banner thing either. However it is the sort of thing I feared it might do.

Donā€™t hold your breath on them fixing this bug, it has been a hot-minute since it was introducedā€¦ and, at this point, I am certain it must be intentional.

The team has reportedly been trying to figure out how they introduced this bug for more than 7 months now. Iā€™m pretty sure the wheel is slowly spinning, but the hamster has died!

Unforgivable, yesā€¦ but, most certainly intentional!

Ya. A ā€œbugā€. Iā€™m on iOS so somehow this bug is mirrored in swift? Ha.

Of course it is. If one were to cast any blame, it probably would be in the direction of marketingā€“who, in all fairness, have a job to do. Clearly annoying, but it must pay off or they wouldnā€™t do it. JMO, YMMV!
