Hello… No solution for this problem… I try to enroll the phone in Samsung Knox witch is a platform for companys…in this platform a company can manage their employees phones regarding the apps, the downloads, emails etc. and in this platforn every phone receive an unlock code, with this code you can unlock the phone in situations like this.The only probleme is that the phone must be enrolled before the lock :)… I had to reset the phone and I lost all the data.
Hi! I’m still waiting until now. Hoping Samsung reconsider to bring back the UNLOCK option. I don’t want to delete my files. There are many precious memories stored in my phone

Anyone had a chance yet with unlocking your phone? Mine (S22 ultra) is still locked for a month now. Been using both face recognition and fingerprint and rarely the screen pattern. It suddenly required screen pattern only and for some reason there was no option for my usual face recognition and fingerprint! I’ve tried my pattern and other ones I may have used previously but nothing worked!!!
For several weeks now I have been left with one attempt every 24hours but to no avail!!! I am still able to access my digital wallet using fingerprint and even able to receive calls and SMS but no other way at all to access my phone data/apps without surpassing the screen pattern.
Do we have news if/when the Unlock feature will come back? Or any other possible way to retrieve 3years worth of captured memories on the photos/videos stored on the phone?
Worst case, would samsung service centre be able to perhaps dismantle the device and help me access my data since I have sufficient proof I am the owner/user?
Please, greatly appreciate any help here.

This forum was set up a number of years ago so that customers could help other customers with the Samsung SmartThings Home Automation platform.
A couple of years ago, Samsung combined a bunch of its different apps under the SmartThings name, so people do sometimes come here with app related questions. But it’s not an official support forum for Samsung phones.
You might want to also try the official Samsung community. You’re more likely to get a response from a Samsung employee there and they typically have more information about phone functionality.
Since it is an app question, they might just send you back over here, but it’s worth a try:
Other ways to reach actual Samsung employees are by opening an official support ticket using the “contact us” option in the SmartThings app, or posting on one of the official public facing channels like Facebook or Twitter/X.
Good luck! Samsung does historically have a bad habit of dropping features without pre-notification. It can be super annoying.
Same Problem at least with the try every 1400 minutes like mentioned here there was a time the code went down bit sadly repeating it seems to not work. I had both of my samsung linked to my account but was probably too late even when the unlocking was available and both devices conected to the home WiFi I couldn’t get it threw and now blocked my account cause I tryed it on multiple ones now my last hope is to unlock them 2031 when I tryed all paterns that I used. It’s sad that there probably is a way just like there was with smartthingsfind but I‘d guess it’s like everywhere they don’t think that you know what u want and just want you to buy a new phone cause for them to unlock it would mean to reactivate my account with datas of my phone that are locked better for them or actually have a signal to your phone and they just cut it off like I want my phone back I‘m pretty sure about that after half if my life using it so I‘l just keep trying
If you guys know your last pin, hit the forgot pin button. It will prompt you to put in your last used pin. If you have it set to auto unlock when the pin is put in without hitting “ok”, you can try pins until it opens, deleting after you enter one that doesn’t unlock it instead of hitting “ok”. It will then prompt you to input a new pin.
My Tab S5e’s screen fell and got broken. I attached it to my tv but now its showing a floating “Time and Lock” icon instead of what’s going on, on the tablet screen, so I can not draw my unlock pattern. I spend a few days to find a way to draw my pattern with a connected screen, mouse and keyboard but no luck. While looking for a solution, I found the SmartThings Unlock option. But it got cancelled recently. Blocking the owners from their devices is not the solution. This is so lame! You can just ask for the pin or pattern when people wants to unlock it. I find it very disappointing that Samsung can not come up with a real solution.
You can now add me to the same list. It just happened to me today. Suddenly my pin stopped working. I think this issue is entirely unacceptable.
