Hello all,
New to ST put pretty tech savy but I need help with this.
Current set up : ST V3, running new app
I purchased wifi switches and dimmers (Treatlife, both compatible with Smartlife). I created a virtual switch in ST to access my SL compatible switches. I also created an applet in IFTTT to allow ST to access SL to run the on/off applets.
The single pole switches run fine ie i can turn them on/off via the ST app but I cannot turn off the dimmer once they have been turned on. Any advice would be welcomed at this time. Thanks!
Hey there!
Thank you for reaching out for assistance and welcome to the community. I’d be happy to take a look into your concerns.
I’m assuming that you are using Smart Life wifi switches, have you tried placing the switches into a Group on Smart Life such as “WifI Switches” and then create an applet for IFTTT to execute the brightness level and power cycle functions. The community will also have some additional suggestions to get you going but the below may help you!
Smartthings Virtual Devices to turn on, off as the if, and the trigger set to activate Smart Life switch to Turn on, off, or change the brightness. As those are third-party and not certified to works with smart things. Another resource that would be helpful is to reach out to their support team as well.
I hope this message finds you well!

Thank you so much for the reply, I will try your suggestion., I have tried reaching out to the 3rd party switch makers but they are of little to no use.
You are very welcome. No worries about being new to ST, being here will help you learn more as you navigate the possibilities.
Keep me posted if the symptoms persist.
I hope this message finds you well!

Thank you. I tried grouping the SL wifi switches but still can’t manage to get them to turn off. They all turn on individually or when in a group, but unable to turn them off. It’s interesting as the regular switches (non dimmer) work fine.
I will keep looking out for other solutions, thank you for your help.
