I had to go into the IDE and delete the custom device handler I had installed for it.

SUCCESS!
You know, I thought I had removed all my custom IRIS PLUG DTHs but there was one more that I found lurking in the shadows. Once removed, it took a couple of tries but it finally paired.

Thanks for reminding me to check my IDE again.

Yes, apparently I somehow had another Iris Plug DTH that I forgot to remove.
