I’ve been using a few of these for a couple of years now.
I recently changed the battery on 2 of these and despite fresh batteries they stubbornly refuse to update battery levels and remain at 4% and 12% for a week now. I tried swapping driver and then back, still no joy. Any methods to force a refresh to SmartThings?

Tuya zigbee motion sensor
Could be anything. Some of them use non-standard battery reporting via the EF00 cluster.
Only one available to swap to was zigbee sensor which doesn’t work with it, but I swapped to it and swapped back to mc driver Mario’s driver works fine otherwise, historically it seemed to report battery level.
Is there a button on the device to wake it up? Maybe it will send the battery status then?
Yes, there’s an on/ off button which I’ve tried. Doesn’t seem to trigger a battery level report though. And it’s generating lots of movement events so it’s definitely communicating with the hub
