Trying to integrate presence sensing in ST. Best way?

I am interested in trying to setup being able to get notified when my hubbie leaves his work and when my daughter gets to school and her work. It seems very complicated to do it in ST because I have to create Locations and then add their iphone into that location. I am currently trying Life360 but I don’t know if it is worth upgrading the the Plus account. How well does Life360 integrate with ST? Is there any other ways?
