Tretakt setup and connectivity issue

Hi all,

I’ve got 2 original Samsung smart plugs, and was looking to expand the numbers of outlets i could control with Smartthings. I was originally looking at the IKEA Inspelning, but they’ve been discontinued, so took the plunge with Tretakt as a cheap option.

The Tretakt are able to be added as devices without issue, but they go offline soon after being added. I can put them in pairing more and re-add them, but they continue to go offline and this repeats with all 3 I purchased.

Have others encountered this, and did a firmware update (I realise I’ll need a Dirigera) resolve the issue, or is there another solution?

I have 4 Tretakt plugs and the work well with my ST v2 hubs. I have not had any offline issues.

Why do you say the Inspelning is discontinued? The Baltimore, MD, USA has 54 Inspelning plugs in stock.

Thanks for the reply, and yes I’ve got the V2 as well.

Here in AU Inspelning was removed from the IKEA website and chat with support says it has been discontinued.

Probably because they had firmware issue with power reporting

Just for completeness, I reset the hub after reading Reddit - Dive into anything and was able to add the smart switches without an issue.
