Aliro Support and Samsung Wallet Integration:
- Built on the Aliro standard, Samsung Wallet now enables Galaxy phone users to unlock compatible smart locks with a digital home key. Once a partner lock is onboarded via SmartThings using Matter, a digital key is added to the user’s Samsung Wallet.
- This allows for seamless, hands-free access via Ultra-Wideband (UWB) proximity detection or a simple NFC tap, all secured by Samsung Knox. Learn more.

Now Brief Expands to Samsung TVs and Family Hubs: Now Brief is expanding from Galaxy phones to Samsung TVs and Family Hub refrigerators. Now Brief automatically surfaces critical smart home data—like device status, energy usage, and security updates—as users approach their TVs or engage with the Family Hub refrigerator. This expansion gives your Works with SmartThings (WWST)-certified devices even greater visibility across the Samsung ecosystem. Read the full announcement.
