The simulator doesn't work

Dear All,

When I use the simulator of Web IDE, it just display a device view and print nothing when I send a message or do some other operations.
I have added log print in the message handler function.

In my firefox I can see an http error when start simulator:
Firefox can’t connect to wss://ic.connect.smartthings.com:8443/device/virtual-e7e768d5-842d-4ee6-9835-6cffb17432b8.
I have tried to use a http proxy, but it still can’t connect to that address.

Anyone knows how to fix this issue ?

I think they have stated that it is best to use chrome for the simulated environment. However I have had issue with the Sim as well.

I have tried chrome browser, and got similar error message:

WebSocket connection to 'wss://ic.connect.smartthings.com:8443/device/virtual-e7e768d5-842d-4ee6-9835-6cffb17432b8' failed: Error in connection establishment: net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

Well, then I would contact support and ask them to assist. I was hoping that the Chrome Browser would resolve your issue. Sorry that I was not of much help here.
