It would be nice with smart things to be able to have the option to postpone or suspend a routine for a specific amount of time same as you can mute your phone and tell it to unmute in 1 hour.

There’s a workaround for anyone reading. I have a virtual switch named “Motion disabled” to pause motion related routines. The switch is a precondition in all my motion routines and, since it’s a switch, you can use the switch timer like “turn on for 1 hour”, which would disable those routines for an hour.
