Target is featuring only three brands: nest, WeMo, and wink.
Walmart also has a “connected home” initiative but it’s really fractured. What they do in the stores is different than what they do online. In the stores, the endcaps feature insteon devices. Plus a separate camera line and chamberlain’s MyQ garage door controller.
Online, they’re not even offering the same Insteon devices and trying to find anything is really confusing.
Flagship store (“Target Open House”) opened this week… With good early reviews…
But no SmartThings on sale, I think. Why not?
