If you have temperature and humidity sensors connected to the H100 via Matter, everything exposed by the H100 will break if you update to the new 1.6.1 firmware.
Already read a case but still decided to update for research sake ![]()
You’ll see that bridged devices in H100 change and are exposed as new devices or devices getting wrong data that belong to other devices.
Also, the water sensor is not exposed yet so it’s not even the Matter 1.3 update, disappointing.
I believe they were in a rush to release it since there was a recent high score vulnerability regarding the certificates that was fixed in 1.6.1.
The root of the issue is the temp & humidity sensor was bridged as one endpoint and is now two endpoints, making all the other endpoints shift. SmartThings maps the endpoints to devices when originally added, since the endpoints have changed everything gets mixed up.
The best solution is removing the bridge from SmartThings (that will remove the devices) and add the bridge again. Of course, you’ll have to rebuild the automations.
