I also purchased a couple of those black friday 7th gen fire tablets, they arrive tomorrow. I am glad to hear Action Tiles works well, that’s the first thing I am setting up!

You don’t allow the screen to go dark? May want to think about allowing the screen to wake up with motion. Betting that your device will last a lot longer if the screen isn’t displayed 24/7.
Action tiles is web based so it will work on any tablet right? I have a super old iPad and have no intention on getting a new one any time soon. It’s still run though, right?
Though web/browser based, ActionTiles uses some cutting-edge Javascript browser features that are not available on “super old” devices or OS’s.
Unfortunately, that includes iPad Gen 1.
I think I have gen 2. I hope that works.

Set it up for use on your phone first. Then once you realize that you can’t live without ActionTiles, if the ancient tablet you have doesn’t work, then you will know that you need to invest a small amount of coin to get a tablet that you can mount on the wall to run ActionTiles 24/7
