If I connect 2 strips together and run the random color button in the dth on the first strip will the second strip show the same color? And another question. Do I need to install the second strip in Smartthings or will it just work as an extension of the first. Basically I just want to put 2 strips together and randomize the color and both be the same.
Same color as it’s just an extension. You’ll need to install it in ST only if you use the 2nd string’s controller so you’ll end up with 2 independent strings.
