Swap device question

I have 2 devices that I would like to swap in to my current thing profiles… is this possible?

Example

  1. GE Link bulb stopped working and showed up as a new device…now I have an old and new. Old has all my settings.
  2. Just replaced a switch for a dimmer, settings are on the switch.

There is no way to ‘replace’ devices. You must delete the old and add the new, and in order to do that, you must touch each application that addresses the old and new devices.

This needs to be addressed in the future, but for now it sucks.

Thanks…just did that, kinda a pain.

Hope there is a better way in the future.
