It appears that the Sunny Boy inverters now feature Zig Bee.

Does anyone have one? How much effort would it be to add to Smart Things? It would be great to control smart outlets/thermostat based on the amount of power coming in through the solar panels.

The SunnyBoys also talk Bluetooth - I’m working on a Raspberry Pi client that presents the data in a more manageable format (the BT protocol is heavily encoded with about three different layers of protocol depending on what you’re asking for) such as JSON over HTTP - from there to ST shouldn’t be a big step.
