I occasionally get the same problem on my devices. I use US cloud (in Texas).
It has occurred while I am on the server. Noted in logs is that log display is not working very well (or at all). Set a state, the device changes, no log entries (even though the code has info messages). Next level of failure is the Android interface does not update unless I exit and return in. I do not think it is the app. I think it is server - app communications!
Problem usually goes away by itself (sort of like that car problem that goes away on turning into the dealership). But (I think) there is definitely some sort of issues on the cloud server.
