Release note says “SmartThings 2.0.2 addresses some app crash issues”, but the first thing it did after upgrading was… crash.
…but not that one.

Oops! Didn’t intentionally hit the like button. A crash is never worth a like!
I had to delete the ST app and then re-install it due to the update. It kept crashing and would not open. That is when I saw I needed to delete and then re-install. Since then I have not had much issues with it crashing.
Weird… Mine did not crash though after the update. And looks like the non functioning “Add Set” has disappeared…
Were you using the widget or watch app before updating? What was your previous SmartThings app version as well?
Did you have the today widget or watch app installed before updating? Also what version of the app were you on before updating to 2.0.2?
I also experience this issue after upgrading to ST 2.0.2 App. First time I opened it crashed. Once I opened for a second time it loaded.
Yes, I had both installed and I was on 2.0.1 before the upgrade.

Another new one. SHM and family reversed. but it resolved itself.
Still can’t update a device custom icon. I have a re-purposed zwave lightswitch that I convered to an alarm system toggle that still has the “lamp” icon even though I’ve repeatedly changed it to something more appropriate.
I still can’t re-order devices inside a room, anyone having this issue?
Works fine for me.
Go in to the room.
From the three-dots-menu (top right), select “Edit room”
In the “Edit Room” page which opens, below “Add/Edit devices in this
room”, you should see the devices currently assigned to this room.
You can re-order them here by dragging and dropping using the
handles on the right hand side.
Tap “Done” (top right) when you’re finished.
Whenever I try to re-order the room in Edit Room, it just randomly places everything in another order that I didnt set.

Ever since upgrading to 2.0.2, I have been asked to login to the app multiple times without signing out. I assume this is a new bug that has been introduced.
Maybe they want you to really be sure about your offset time?
I let support know. It is meant to be the sunrise offset.
Aha - this may be why you were having problems…
Amongst the fixes in the latest release of the iOS app was this:
- Fixed: Device sorting within a room doesn’t save if your room also has a hero device
I didn’t have “hero devices” configured, but I suspect you did - hence it worked for me but not you.
