[ST Edge] SmartThings MyQ Edge (Obsolete)

anyone else still having issues?
Smartthings controller shows the server offline for me.
I am using the same IP and port as 1.0.4 when it was working. I have closed all docker containers and images and started with a fresh download. I have uninstalled the controller from smarthings and reinstalled. Still nothing. I am guessing it’s something dumb on my end but I have other edge devices running from this computer with different ports and they are running just fine.

thanks in advance for any help.

What do the logs say?

Just listening for the hub

I’m getting the same thing @Derek.Holt . Running docker on windows 10

Try deleting the controller device in ST and re-adding and configuring it.

You can also check the status of the controller via http://gatewayip:8090/Status

Try Power-Cycling your SmartHub (not just a reboot) (remove batteries from bottom of v2 Hub)

Thanks for the suggestions!

I removed it all from the STs app and re-added the controller. Same results.

I have a v3 STs hub with no batteries in the bottom. I have power cycles it a few times. Same results

The gateway ip hasn’t changed by chance, right? Is it hard coded or set to auto? I had issues until I hard coded mine a while back.

Hm now you got me thinking…
The gateway hardware device did change. I updated my hardware, but I did a backup on the old device and restore on the new so all setting are the exact same as before. I just checked and the gateway IP is indeed the same as before.

I see MyQ-Controller 1 on your screenshot… is there another MyQ-Controller somewhere?

I tried installing the MyQ connector BETA driver to see if that would do anything different. I realized that if I had both the regular and beta driver installed it would create 2 devices one for each.

I have since removed the beta driver and only have one device installed.

what do you see when you go to http://myq-server-ip:8090/status

Site can’t be reached

yep… you got some investigating to do

just making sure… you replaced myq-server-ip from my earlier with the ip address for your myq server

Yes, I did

The IP @jkp mentioned should return with something if its missing credentials, error, etc. so I would start there on your troubleshooting. Until the page returns a status, there’s your issue.

If you have other components on that device (pi-hole, docker, etc.), do they return?

I updated to 1.06 and am seeing error 429. If I just wait, will it fix itself?

You may want to turn off for a bit to see if that allows the error to go away.

@DavidAg02 Power-cycling the SmartThings Hub did the trick for me.
