[ST Edge] Philips Hue LAN [BETA] (3rd Party Driver, Not ST Native)

When you disabled Hunches in Alexa… did you delete any Routines in Alexa that it may have created? Also, have you used the Smart lighting smart app in the past? If yes, check it for any Rules.

I have no Alexa routines nor Hue Automations.

I wonder if there is a Zigbee conflict. The lights having issues are in adjacent rooms and are Hue or Non-Hue Zigbee bulbs.

I made a change on one non-Hue and now it is turning on at the same time as the Hue in that room.

ST Zigbee Channel = 14

Hue Zigbee Channel = 20

Any other suggestions? I reset the lights, left them off for a week, and reconnected to ST. Still happening….sigh

Last log I saw showed that the device was being turned on from outside the driver, correct? It was receiving a switch on with no api call before it?

DM me the list of everything you have connected to the hue api. One has to be the culprit. You can also go to the hue website and review api tokens that are in use. That may be better. You can revoke them.

Separately, I’d look for apps you have connected to SmartThings itself. ActionTiles, etc. I’m leaning towards these because the switch event was being directly called, which would point at ST and not Hue.

Its Hue and non-Hue lights so you bring up some good points on apps connected to ST and Hue. I will clean those up and keep monitoring. I appreciate the help!

Had a network issue, and now, the Hue integration can turn bulbs on, but it’s not working to turn them off… Anyone seen behavior like this or have an idea how to fix it without deleting and reading the bulbs?

no channel overlaps?

Not that I know of. Seems to be fixed now. I turned off the hub for an hour. When it came back on, it’s working as expected. Could have been a channel overlap, but the network issue was a bad switch, not a wireless problem.
