I have a Samsung Smartthings (Zigbee) Hub V3.
The unit will pair but it is given the wrong driver “Zigbee Thing” not “Zigbee Switch”
Do you have a custom Driver I can install on my hub?
Some details showing on the Samsung Smartthings Advanced:-
Model :- TS0601
Manufacturer Code:- _TZE284_nqqylykc
Device Profile:- zigbee-thing
Happy to send any other information that is needed.
I have install these drivers and default Clusters. But not working (have changed the profile to 1 dimmer )
Hello OK so I got it to work with this driver both the on/off and the dimmer are working.
But my next question is why if the debug information only appear correctly for a second ( managed to capture ) see below, what I mean as otherwise it is just raw HTML :
Dear friend this is something the blocked in SmartThings App long time ago they allow to display only two HTML rows which is not acceptable. I’m remanding about this feature each time they release a new FW.
You are welcome to ask as well here:
DP for Temperature Measurement = 0 → temperature is correct and tracks the LCD value.
DP for Relative Humidity Measurement → humidity is always reported as 100%, while the device display shows e.g. 64%.
Changing the humidity DP (1, 2, 3, …) does not fix the data; when humidity is reported, SmartThings always shows 100%, even though the real humidity is lower.
Debug view on the device only shows the HTML <table style="font-size:0.6em;…> snippet, so I can’t see the raw EF00 datapoints in a human‑readable form from the app.
Would you have any hint about:
Which DP numbers this TS0601 / _TZE284_9ern5fh uses for humidity, and
Whether a scale factor (e.g. divide by 10 or 2, or some mapping) is needed for relativeHumidityMeasurement for this device?
If a custom mapping for this manufacturer/model is required in the driver, I’d be happy to test any beta version or share additional screenshots/logs (including raw JSON from the web UI) to help you add support.
One more thing: with the Temperature & Humidity profile, in the room overview tab of the SmartThings app I only see the temperature under the device tile; the humidity value is not shown there (only inside the device detail view).
If it’s possible to adjust the device profile/presentation so that both temperature and humidity are visible in the room overview tile for this profile, that would make the sensor much more usable at a glance.
Quick update in case it helps someone with the same sensor.
After more testing I found that switching the device to the **“Temperature & Humidity + Battery”**profile in the Personal Tuya Devices – main driver by @w35l3y, solved the humidity issue:
Profile: Temperature & Humidity + Battery
Manufacturer: Auto
Battery Mode: auto
DP for Temperature Measurement, DP for Relative Humidity Measurement, and DP for Battery all left at 0 (auto mapping).
Manufacturer: If humidity still does not appear, set to _TZE200_zl1kmjqx
With this profile:
Temperature and humidity now match exactly what is shown on the HS03‑ZI display.
Battery level is also exposed (100%), will see if it is correct
I did not have to manually guess DP numbers anymore; the driver picked the right ones automatically for my TS0601 / _TZE284_9ern5fh.
One limitation I still have: in the room overview tab of the SmartThings app, the device tile only shows the temperature value. Humidity is visible only inside the device detail view (and can be used in Routines), not in the room summary.
If anyone knows how to adjust the Edge profile/presentation so that the room overview tile shows both temperature and humidity (instead of temperature only) for this profile, I’d be very grateful for any guidance or example.
This device pairs using the Generic profile and does not expose datapoints.
I believe it needs a fingerprint entry so PTD can assign the EF00/TS0601 profile.
Thank you! It says a lot about you that you’re willing to help the ST community this way!
is any chance to add these two Zigbee/Tuya devices to this driver?
Engo Control Box (ECB62-ZB):
Manufacturer: _TZE200_oahqgdig
Model: TS0601
Engo Temperature Regulator (E25-BATB):
Manufacturer: _TZE204_cg8hdnjv
Model: TS0601
Fingerprints and Clusters:
These devices are crucial for floor heating control systems. The E25-BATB is a battery-powered thermostat, and the ECB62-ZB is a wiring centre/controller.
I’ve managed to find the technical specifications for both devices in the Zigbee2MQTT and z2m database. This should help with the mapping for the Tuya EF00 cluster:
1. Engo ECB62-ZB (Wiring Centre):
DP 1 to 6: Switch status/control for zones 1 to 6.
DP 101: Pump/Boiler status.
2. Engo E25-BATB (Thermostat):
DP 16: Target Temperature (occupied_heating_setpoint).
DP 24: Current Temperature (local_temperature).
DP 36: Battery percentage.
DP 45: Temperature Calibration.
I hope this makes the implementation easier.
Let me know if you need any logs from the CLI to confirm these data points!
Thank You for Your amazing work and support for the SmartThings Community!
You will have to select a profile and test your device (in settings).
If you won’t find a profile for your device, you can try using the generic profile in settings . Add your DP , the driver will create a device per each switch , sensor that you entered.
I’ve attached a screenshot from the Zigbee Thing Mc driver showing the full cluster info. If anyone has successfully mapped the Illuminance DP for this specific _t9ynfz4x variant, or if a developer could add this fingerprint to the driver, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks for all the work you do on these Edge drivers.
@OferDV ,
This switch is NOT containing EF00 cluster but only default ZCL Clusters.
Should work fine with @Mariano_Colmenarejo Zigbee Switch Power MC driver.
