There is a brand of IP IOT devices (Yeelight bulbs) that require using port 1982 on the multicast address (239.255.255.250). I know the hub allows me to use 1900 for multicast as an exception to the ‘can’t specify ports’ rule, but will it allow me to use this alternative port number?
Have you made some tests using that port and received an error?
Multicast support doesn’t have a port restriction that would impact the Yeelight integration.
Please, let me know if you have issues using the 1982 port.

Ah good! Thanks for the confirmation. I didn’t want to bother trying yet it if there were restrictions, so with your answer I’ll give it a shot.
