[ST Edge/Beta] Xiaomi/Aqara/Tuya zigbee sensors driver

Hi, not working MCCGQ01LM.

Could you please elaborate what’s not working?
Would it be possible to provide the logs?

Not pairing((
Aqara MCCGQ11LM, work well

It is known issue for Xiaomi sensors.
It may take several attempts to successfully pair them.
Could you please describe the pairing process you are doing?

@psix.anp Also, try the following procedure (strangely enough, I couldn’t find my original post that is referenced below)

@psix.anp
Ok, found it.
It was for different device, but with Xiaomi the idea is the same.
1.Put the hub into paring mode
2. Long press a button on device until is starts blinking
3. Release the button, wait for device to stop nlinking
4. Short press button with the same time interval to prevent device going into sleeping mode
Note the led, press button only if the led is off

Just a side note, consider removing the ones you don’t use.
I saw some reports of unavailability due to the number of installed drivers.
Hub has limited resources for storaging and processing.

Do any of you use channel 25 for zigbee? I read that some old devices struggle to use 25 so I was wondering if the aqara port sensors work with this channel, because I can not associate them.

Edit: Port sensor and Aqara motion sensor with difficulty, but they are connected to the hub on channel 25.
I point this out because a migration guide said that the new aeotec hub is set by default on channel 25, but they said that not all old devices are compatible with this channel.

I’m using channel 19 and don’t have a problem with my Aqara devices.

Is it possible to add the non LCD display version of the Tuya Temperature & Humidity sensor to this driver?

@paulonthenet

Do you have a fingerprint for your device? I will see what I can do

Does this help?

Does anyone have Aqara vibration sensor in use? Could it be added to this driver?

@Sakari
Do you have model number and fingerprint for your sensor?

@paulonthenet

Yes, this helps, thank you.
Seems pretty simple. Will update when done

@paulonthenet
I added the fingerprint of your device and a basic handling. However, I don’t have this device, so unable to test it.
Please let me know if it works for you.

I fortunately don’t have the device. I’ve been thinking about buying one but there is no driver so haven’t bought one yet. It is this one.

Works great and nice to see the signal strength information.
Thank you for adding this, Im sure there will be quite a lot of people using this cheap Tuya sensor who will benefit.
